Dragon Ball Super Card Game enters a new series - Zenkai series
(Zenkai likely means fully unleashed, strongest, or ultimate.)
Dragon Ball might be a relatively niche TCG in Asia, but it ranks quite high in Europe and America.
Based on current intelligence...
Brand new system -
Zenkai adds Zenkai Deck
- Place next to the Leader Card
- Maximum of 7 cards
- Zenkai Cards come in two types: Zenkai Leader and Battle Cards. A maximum of four cards of each type can be used.
(You can think of this as Yu-Gi-Oh! Extra Deck)
How does Zenkai Card appear?
After each battle,
You can place one of the Combo cards in the Z Energy zone (near the Zenkai Deck).
All Zenkai Cards have a number as indicated by a "Card" symbol on the left.
Place the corresponding number of Z Energy into the discard pile and use the card's entry fee to summon the Zenkai Card!
Zenkai Leader is an example of the same condition, awakening upon the corresponding character. 
Although it's more complex, it also brings more variety to the game and reduces the chance of not being able to start the game because you can't draw a certain key card in your main deck.
Four Zenkai starter decks will be released in September, based on previews at a foreign Dragon Ball exhibition.
They are Super Saiyan 4 Goku, Dragus, Gotengod, and Great Ape Goku.
The 18th expansion pack, Dawn of the Z-Legends, will include even more Zenkai cards.
